LUCY

Strong singer/dancer. Richard is Shakespeare's no.1 hype man! What he might lack in intellect and nuance, he definitely makes up for in spirit. Will cover principal role (s). Vocal range: sings to an A4.

RICHARD

Strong singer/dancer. Will also cover main roles. Gregory is lively and vibrant, and always up for a laugh, but he also demands attention and can be easily offended. Will cover principal role(s). Vocal range: sings to an Ab4.

GREGORY

Benvolio/Eleanor is Romeo’s best friend and hype man, who always takes Romeo’s side and is a total “bro”... a fun gender-bending role for the Player Eleanor. 
Will cover principal role(s). Vocal range: G3 - top D5 full belt.

BENVOLIO/ELEANOR

Henry is all smiles as one of Shakespeare’s Players, but he shows a darker, intimidating side when he enters the play as a snotty French bathroom attendant. Will cover principal role(s). Vocal range: G3 - A4.

HENRY

Great stylistic dancer who is comfortable singing to minimum D5. Susanna is like the little sister of the Players—supportive and good-natured, full of laughter and always up for a good time! Vocal range: Belt to minimum D5.

SUSANNA

Augustine is always flipping around on stage when he’s out greeting our audience. The most mischievous of all the Players; if there’s trouble, he’ll be at the center of it. Vocal range: Baritenor or tenor range. Great stylistic dancer who is comfortable singing.

AUGUSTINE

Fantastic specialty dancer. Helpful if comfortable keeping a tune. Kempe is the happy-go-lucky player who never backs down from a dance-off! Kempe’s impressive moves get the audience fired up at the start of the show. Does not need to be a strong singer but a fab dancer with specialties.

KEMPE

Amazing dancer. Helpful if keeps a tune. Imogen is a feisty, passionate member of Shakespeare’s company who loves to dance her socks off, and also shows a debonair side when she enters the play as a French princess. Does not need to be a strong singer but a fab dancer with specialties.

About the project: 
An epic love story based on Philip Sidney’s "Arcadia," featuring the songs of The Go-Go’s. Head Over Heels is the story of what happens when the royal court of Arcadia is threatened by the mystical Oracle of Delphi with the loss of its “Beat,” the divine power that ensures the kingdom’s prosperity.

One 16-32 bar pop/rock song (please bring sheet music in the correct key) and be prepared to read a provided sonnet.
Please be prepared to learn a brief dance combination.

The King of Arcadia. A sexy, good ol' boy. A hothead, but not a tyrant. Blindly thinks Arcadia is doing great under his masculine rule, which will be sorely tested during the course of the show.

The Queen of Arcadia. Attractive, wise, beautiful. Like any longstanding spouse, knows how to get her way with her husband when push comes to shove.

Basilius' and Gynecia's ravishing elder daughter. Think Helen of Troy with the confidence of a Kardashian. Known to be the undisputed most beautiful bachelorette throughout Arcadia.

The other daughter. Shy and a "good girl," she yearns to follow her heart rather than obey her father's orders.

Lady-in-Waiting to Pamela. Warm, skeptical. Growing up without a mother has made her wise beyond her years about everyone and everything, which is why she is the (sometime) narrator to the show.

Non Equity Talent Needed for "Fiddler on the Roof "Show

The company would like to announce auditions for “The Addams Family - Musical” Show. Seeking performers who have strong comedic acting skills, vocal technique, and dance skills, please see the details below.

Additional info:
All auditioning should prepare 32 measures of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Please bring an accompanist track as no accompanist will be available at auditions. Acapella auditions will also be permitted. All those auditioning for lead roles will be asked to do cold readings from the script. All auditioning may be asked to learn a brief dance combination. Please wear or bring comfortable clothes and shoes to dance in, if necessary. If you would like to be considered for a lead role, please be familiar with the score in the event we ask you to sing a portion.
The show will run three weekends from July 21 to August 6. Additional callbacks if needed will be held on Sunday, June 11th after auditions.
Rehearsals will start the week of June 12th and a schedule will be created based on cast availability. The first read thru of the script will be held on Wednesday, June 14th.

Vocal Range: Bb2 - G4 A suave man who adores his wife and children and takes immense pride in being an Addams. Gomez finds himself trapped between his daughter and his wife, being forced to hide Wednesday’s big secret from Morticia. He has great comedic timing and is a strong dancer.

Vocal Range; A3 - E5 Gothic big sister Wednesday who has her father’s heart and her mother’s sensibility falls in love with a “normal” boy who she brings home to meet the family. Wednesday is trying to balance her relationships with “strange” family with that of her new love and his “normal” family. Wednesday showcases compassion, a bit of stubbornness and strong will. She has a strong belt.

Vocal Range; C3 – G4 (optional C5) Serving as the narrator of the show, Uncle Fester is lovable, childish, enthusiastic and highly incorrigible. Fester has great comedic timing and a tenor voice.

Vocal Range: C3 – A4 The uptight and father of Lucas and cold-shouldered husband to Alice, cynical Mal meets the Addams with skepticism. He finds the Addams to be too bizarre for his liking and cannot fathom being related to them.

Vocal Range: Ab3 – G#5 Lucas’s mother and Mal’s wife, Alice is strongly devoted to her family. She presents herself as reserved and collected (even when speaking in rhyme) until she learns to unleash her wild side at dinner with the Addams. She is a strong comedic actress with a strong belt.

Vocal Range: C3 – C5 The hopeful romantic and son of Alice & Mal, Lucas has fallen in love with Wednesday and intends to marry her. He is optimistic and hopeful yet struggles to find the balance between his ‘normal’ family and the macabre Addams. Strong singer.

All Vocal Ranges: The Addams ancestors from various eras serve as the chorus for the show and help bring the story to life. They will be featured both singing and dancing throughout the entire show (once relapsed from the family crypt!). Seeking actors with both vocals and dancing abilities.

About the project:
Footloose is the story of Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago. He and his mother move to the small town of Bomont after his father abandons them. Upon arriving, Ren finds himself at odds with most of the town, including the Reverend Shaw Moore. The Reverend has convinced the town to outlaw dancing, which Ren finds unbelievable. With the help of Ariel (the Reverend’s daughter) and Willard (a country hick who becomes his best friend), Ren convinces the Reverend to let the teenagers dance, and in the process helps the town to heal from a tragedy that affected them all.

-Possibly start as early as July (with leads by appointment).

Please dress to be comfortable and have the ability to move for a dance audition. Directors cannot guarantee the temperature of the theater will be ideal for every individual auditioning, so dress accordingly.
Vocal auditions - please select from the list of songs below. (If auditioning for more than one role, please prepare the song of your first priority, as directors may not have time to hear multiple vocal auditions from the same person). Your selection does not need to be memorized and sheet music is encouraged. A pianist will accompany you for your audition. No a-cappella auditions or backing tracks will be permitted. If you do not see a character song for a character you wish to be considered, just select a similar song that best suits your voice. Cold readings (sides) will be from the script.
