Searching for Equity actors for Theatre's 2026-2027 season show "Harmony: The Musical" - video submissions. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please refer to the details below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: Harmony: The Musical – Based on the extraordinary true story of the internationally acclaimed German vocal group, the Comedian Harmonists, Harmony follows six young men whose breathtaking close harmonies made them the biggest musical sensation in Europe before the rise of the Nazi regime threatened to destroy their careers, friendships, and lives. Filled with soaring harmonies, humor, romance, and heartbreaking drama, Harmony celebrates the power of music, love, and the resilience of the human spirit. Rate: $675 weekly minimum. Additional info: Theatre will view at least 150 video submissions from Equity members. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. High Baritone/Tenor (G2-F4). The heart and conscience of the story. An older survivor who narrates the events of the Comedian Harmonists' rise and fall. Warm, thoughtful, and deeply emotional. Rabbi also doubles as Einstein and Strauss.
High Baritone (C3-A4). Rabbi as a young member of the Harmonists. Kind, loyal, and devoted to Mary. Strong harmony singer, good dancer.
Tenor (E3-D5). Founder and visionary behind the Comedian Harmonists. Energetic, ambitious, eccentric, and relentlessly driven. Strong harmony singer, good dancer.
Bass/Baritone. The bass singer of the group. Intelligent, practical, and often skeptical. A grounding force among the six men. Strong harmony singer, good dancer.
Lyric Tenor. Charming and romantic. One of the Jewish members of the ensemble. Often serves as an optimist. Strong harmony singer, good dancer.
Tenor/Baritone. The pianist and comic member of the group. Witty, playful, and highly theatrical. Strong harmony singer, good dancer.
Tenor. The flamboyant Bulgarian tenor. Charismatic, impulsive, and often the group's most colorful personality. Strong harmony singer, good dancer.
Soprano. Rabbi's wife. A non-Jewish German woman who converts to Judaism to marry him. Courageous, compassionate, and deeply committed to her family.
Mezzo Soprano/Soprano. Strong-willed and politically aware. Represents resistance to the growing Nazi threat and serves as an important moral voice.
Mezzo Soprano. The legendary entertainer Josephine Baker appears as herself. Confident, glamorous, charismatic, and a commanding performer with strong movement ability.
Authoritative presence with strong dramatic acting ability.
Various roles. Good dancers and singers.
