Anout the project: In a desperate search for housing, a young queer man takes refuge in a house full of straight bros—unaware that their friendship hides a sinister plan to recruit him into their cult. Note: This is a body horror film that will feature extensive practical special effects and graphic horror imagery. Talent must be comfortable with horror content, simulated gore, and physically demanding scenes. Rate: Union. $200.00 per day for the role of CHARLIE. $150.00 per day for all other roles. This production operates under an ACTRA Student Producer Agreement. Travel and Accommodations can be provided for non-local talent. LEAD ROLE. A young man who wears his pride openly. After trying to assimilate with a house full of straight bros, Charlie faces the bloody consequences of hetero-assimilation. REQUIRES PROSTHETICS; PERFORMER MUST NOT HAVE A LATEX ALLERGY.
SUPPORTING ROLE. The alpha bro — charismatic, controlling, and perpetually drunk. The ringleader of the group and self-appointed “leader of the pack.” Beneath his charm and bravado, a dark evil simmers just below the surface.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Charlie’s best friend and co-worker. Grounded, funny, and fiercely loyal — she represents Charlie’s sense of belonging and normalcy amidst the madness.
LARGE PRINCIPAL ROLE. The gym bro — muscular, disciplined, and always in a tank top, the embodiment of “gains masculinity.” His confidence feels performative, masking a deeper volatility that’s waiting to erupt.
LARGE PRINCIPAL ROLE. The gamer bro — quiet, long-haired, and chronically online. Detached from the group’s chaos, but his silence feels unsettling, as if he’s observing more than he should.
