USC Stark Special Short Film - "SOUP"

Short Film Logline: A middle-aged Chinese American woman is stuck upholding the legacy of a fading family restaurant along with her Latino apprentice. One night, her world is turned upside down when Meng Po — the mysterious old goddess who serves soup to erase memories before reincarnation — visits her restaurant and offers her a bowl. Faced with the choice to forget her past or continue carrying its weight, what will she choose? The opportunity will be unpaid due to USC rules, but meal, copy, and credit will be provided.
