An enterprising young doctor in search of a cure for a heart condition. They are a charismatic person and extremely motivated by their work. However, their methods are cruel and torturous and often lead to their patients demise. They fail to see the living human element of their experimentations and that is where their cruelty comes in.
A young woman with an incurable heart condition who goes to Dr. Keller in hopes of a cure. She is tired from medical procedures and thus wary of medical professionals who haven't been able to help her. However, she still has a fiery personality and a strong defensive disposition once she's trapped in Dr. Keller's experiments.
Dr. Keller's chief assistant for all their experiments. Tantanella is a quiet, cold, efficient person, whose only interest is to complete their work and help Dr. Keller in changing the treatment of cardiac conditions in the future. They are completely devoted to the cause and unsympathetic to the patients' pleas for help.
Elena's friend who accompanies her in the beginning to the doctor's appointment. They are not allowed to follow Elena into the procedure room and is eventually sent away by Dr. Keller under threat of security and punishment.
One scene character who speaks briefly with Taylor to answer some questions.
