Paid Series: New Fantasy Podcast Seeks VO Talent
SERIES SYNOPSIS: A baker girl working in the heart of a great city develops supernatural powers with which she can imbue her bread with magical herbs, healing or transmutating those who consume what she bakes. She joins the Herbsmiths, an order of herbalists, alchemists, and apothecaries, and becomes involved in twin storms of romance and upheaval in the great capital city and beyond. The series is a mystical fantasy with adventure, romance, and the supernatural. ACTING STYLE: The story is character driven and I am seeking realistic, natural performances similar to those on TV or film (though the project is audio-only). My other shows are in the top 1-3% of all podcasts globally (listennotes.com), have been featured by Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Pocketcasts, and have been nominated for the Canadian Podcast Awards.

A young woman who has left her upbringing as an urchin thief only to become an impoverished baker in the vast capital city. Her inquisitive nature leads her to acquire supernatural powers and to join the Herbsmiths, an order of alchemists, apothecaries, and tincturer-inventors.
A criminal whose network of thieves spans the capital. He was a friend of Liz and helped her survive her upbringing. Unbeknownst to him, she carried a torch for him.
A warrior-poet who wanders the edge of the empire, selling his services as a protector to the disloyal march-lords while seeking to transcend his brutal past as a raider for hire.
A few versatile actors will play several roles adding up to equal, or more, performance time as lead roles. Audition Scenes are divided into 4 categories: Key younger women, key mature women, key younger men, key mature men. Audition scenes for each category are attached.
