West coast Canadian/ American accent (but open to alternatives for the right actress). An ambitious pre-law student with a mysterious backstory, suspicious motives, and secrets. She’s intelligent, hardworking, and looking for a place to belong. Dealing with a lot of trauma. The only member of the group, other than Jasper, who ever has to worry about finances. In a love triangle.
Southern American accent (but not overpowering). Ideally from one of the Carolinas, or a neighboring state. Beautiful, magnetic, witty, and charming. The glue that holds the group together. Everyone loves and wants to be close to her. Speaks her mind, and gets away with doing so because of her charm. Appears to have everything, but doesn’t have the only thing she truly wants. Has secrets. Intelligent, but lacks direction. In a (sort-of) love triangle.
Subtle southern, or standard American accent. Calm, cool, and collected (most of the time). Heir to a lot of old money and estates. Appears to be a sly, privileged prick at first, but there is more to him than meets the eye. Ambitious, handsome, hardworking, intelligent, perceptive, and a bit of a jokester at times. Would be the centre of attention in every room, if his best friend, Ben, wasn’t there too. Takes very good care of the people he cares about. Has secrets.
Full southern, subtle southern or standard American accent. The golden boy quarterback. Very likeable, charming, and handsome. The sort of guy everything comes easily to. Intelligent, but lacks direction and perspective. In a love triangle. Seems like a genuine, good person, but he might not actually be as nice, or as good of a person, as he seems. Becomes jaded, angry, and depressed in the present day timeline due to the events of the murder. Has secrets.
Any accent. Pre-law. Comes from an underprivileged background and is determined to be successful and provide a better life for his family. Has ambitions to become a judge. The peacekeeper of the group. Loyal to his friends (or so it appears). Often overlooked because of his proximity to the more handsome and charming, Ben and Beau. Secretly pining over another member of the group, who is clueless about his feelings. May or may not be willing to do things that others might see as unethical.
Any accent. The volatile one in the group. She says what’s on her mind and is not afraid of confrontation. In a relationship where she is treated poorly, but stays because she “doesn’t care” (even though she clearly does). Has trouble making genuine friendships with other women (except with Daisy, who she loves). Is often overlooked or seen as a sidekick because of Daisy and Nora receive most of the attention. Has secrets.
Mid 40’s. Female. Southern accent. Daisy’s mother. Fiercely loving mother who will do anything for her child.
