Feature Film "Sunburn" Seeks Cast and Extras

August 18th. Principal. Filipino; man. The best Filipino barber in the hood. You go to him when you need a fresh line up. Looking for a performer comfortable mimicking the motions of a barber for an external scene in community.

Background. An old local who loves hanging at the benches and chopping it up with his best friend of 60 years.

Background. A local who loves feeding the pigeons. No physical contact with pigeons will be necessary.

August 25th. Looking for a real-life father and daughter pair to appear in a sweet, summertime moment. The daughter (4–8 years old) is happily eating an ice cream cone, while the father watches over her with warmth and care. Should be comfortable interacting naturally on camera — walking, sitting, or sharing small moments together. No dialogue, but strong visual chemistry is key.

August 20th and 25th. A diverse group of 18+ young adults to portray close-knit friends hanging out during summer. Natural chemistry, relaxed energy, and comfort improvising light conversation or movement (laughing, biking, lounging, etc.). No lines, but should feel like a real friend group.

August 19th. Male-presenting. Looking for individuals with real basketball experience or strong coordination to portray players in a casual outdoor game. Must be comfortable dribbling, shooting, and moving naturally on court. No dialogue, but strong physical presence and natural movement are important.
