Dancers Needed For New Show "Water By The Spoonful"
Performers wanted for the upcoming "Water By The Spoonful" project. See the details below. About the project: Water by the Spoonful is a poignant and lyrical exploration of family, forgiveness, and the search for human connection in the digital age. Set in Philadelphia in 2009 and spanning multiple virtual and physical spaces, the play follows Elliot Ortiz, an Iraq War veteran struggling to find purpose after returning home. Haunted by trauma and the loss of his mother, he drifts between jobs while wrestling with the ghosts of his past. Meanwhile, a small group of recovering addicts gather regularly in an online chat room to share hope, relapses, and small victories. Among them are “Haikumom,” a tough-love moderator who hides her complex past, and the newcomer “Fountainhead,” who’s desperate for reconnection and reinvention.
