Looking for male and female talent for the "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Caractacus Potts is an aspiring inventor and doting father. When his children beg him to fix up an old rusty, rotted race car, he takes on the challenge with pride. His tinkering transforms it into a magical, flying and floating vehicle, capturing the attention of both the lovely Truly Scrumptious and the greedy Baron and Baroness Bomburst. Wanting the car for themselves, the Bombursts capture Grandpa Potts and the family sets out on a rescue mission with Chitty as their chariot to save the day. The delightful musical soars to new heights on stage with classics including “Toot Sweets,” “Hushabye Mountain,” and of course, “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” Additional info: An accompanist will be provided and tape recordings or unaccompanied singing are not permitted. You will also be shown choreography and perform a dance audition. Auditions also consist of a cold reading from the script. Rehearsal Schedule Rehearsals will begin in September. RTG works try to coordinate everyone’s schedule and respect people’s time, so typically not everyone is called to every rehearsal. Most often, rehearsals will be Monday – Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m. with some weekends too. Performance Schedule Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will be performed December 12 – 21, 2025, plus have daytime outreach performances for local schools: Friday, December 12 – 7 p.m. Saturday, December 13 – 2 & 7 p.m. Sunday, December 14 – 2 p.m. Friday, December 19 – 7 p.m. Saturday, December 20 – 2 & 7 p.m. Sunday, December 21 – 2 p.m. Daytime outreach performances will be Wednesday, December 10, Thursday, December 11, Tuesday, December 16, and Wednesday, December 17.
