Seeking talent for "Count Dracula" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: A classic retelling of the Bram Stoker novel that has haunted readers for over a century. COUNT DRACULA tells the tale of an English solicitor named Jonathan Harke, who is sent to Transylvania to close the deal on a real estate transaction. There, he meets his host Count Dracula, a centuries old vampire who reigns as the master of the undead. Dracula arrives in England and begins a reign of terror, targeting Harker’s sister-in-law, Lucy, and slowly turns her into a vampire like himself. The methodical Professor Van Helsing is called in and he suspects that it is the work of the undead and hunts down the monster as Harker’s wife, Mina, is Dracula’s next target. Van Helsing hunts down Dracula and destroys him and Mina is released from his power. Additional info: Auditions will consist of a cold reading from the script. Rehearsals will begin sometime in June, two nights a week. The dates for the show are FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH & SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 20TH @ 7PM & SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 21ST @ 2PM. Tech week is mandatory.
