32 roles
"TOMBSTONE" play. A dying Southern gentleman with a sharp tongue and a quicker draw. Doc is loyal to Wyatt, hostile to fools, and lives like a man with nothing to lose. His dry wit masks constant pain, and his love-hate relationship with Kate Elder is as explosive as his temper. Elegant, dangerous, and unpredictable, Doc walks the line between charm and chaos.
"TOMBSTONE" play. The infamous Lawman: Wyatt Earp relocated to Tombstone to start a new life. He soon becomes the center of the town’s drama and struggles. The real Wyatt Earp lived from 1848-1929, dying at 80. The challenge with this character is to not play him like Clint Eastwood or John Wayne. There is a dry sense of humor about Wyatt, and it comes out more and more as he spends time with Doc.
"TOMBSTONE" play. Wyatt’s older brother and Tombstone’s marshal. He is dedicated to maintaining order in the town. In many ways, he is the calmer of the Earp boys but when he explodes, it is far more than the other two combined.
"TOMBSTONE" play. The youngest of the Earp boys, and seemingly ‘innocent’ according to the Saloon girls, but gets himself in trouble almost naturally. Morgan is charismatic and lovable in his own way, not so much with style and class like Virgil or Doc, nor strong and stoic like Wyatt, but in his own way.
"TOMBSTONE" play. Wyatt’s wife. A good and strong woman though suffers no nonsense. Strong personality that is grounded in sense. This character has a great deal of monologues and dialogue and needs to be played by a strong actor who can evoke a sense of sympathy, vulnerability, while still remaining strong.
"TOMBSTONE" play. Written as ‘handsome, but alarming’, Kate relentlessly chases after Doc Holiday. Their relationship is one of strange extremes. Sometimes she seems to care deeply for him, other times, she would likely shoot him in the face. Doc seems to want to do the latter to her. She is the embodiment of acting without thinking at times, but at other moments, her long and seemingly elaborate plans somehow work.
"TOMBSTONE" play. Wyatt’s girlfriend and one of the Saloon girls of the Oriental Saloon. She is flirtatious, yet cunning, only doing the job of a saloon girl out of necessity. She struggles with finding her place in this gun touting world.
"TOMBSTONE" play. Another Saloon girl. She believes she is going to marry Morgan Earp, but he seems less than confident.
"TOMBSTONE" play. In the trio of Saloon Girls, Pauline is the boss it would seem. Quick to make sure to avoid trouble as much as she can. However, if trouble finds her, she is not about to turn tail and run. Enjoys seeing things blow up and bad people get their comeuppance.
"TOMBSTONE" play. Johnny was the town sheriff and was dating the prettiest girl in town… Then Wyatt came to town. Enough said. Not enough? Well harboring somewhat of a resentment about it, Johnny tolerates Wyatt but will not stand for his far less law abiding friend, Doc Holiday.
"TOMBSTONE" play. The Gang of Gunslingers in Tombstone. These four are written to reflect a sense of interpretation amongst the director and performers. Gungy, aggressive, low down killers, these four need to be hated by the audience in such a way to build an exciting climax
"TOMBSTONE" play. A really funny drunk. NOTE: Performer will not be drunk to perform.
