Actors wanted for production of "The Hours Are Feminine". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. About the project: "Two families, old immigrants from Italy and new immigrants from Puerto Rico, share a yard in rural Long Island in 1960 — the year of Kennedy, Hurricane Donna, and Roberto Clemente — a yard separated by culture, language, history, and an old apple tree. Is friendship possible in this world? And what hand will fate play when the deadly hurricane rages through the land? Join us in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month." Rate: A flat stipend of $200 will be provided for each performer. Additional info: Actors who identify as Hispanic, Latine, or of mixed race are encouraged to audition. Directors will be in touch with an appointment time and sides. You do not need to prepare anything additional. Rehearsal dates: currently scheduled tech rehearsals will be held dates between 9/7-9/19. Further rehearsals will be scheduled around cast conflicts.
