Two judges implore the third judge to vote for their favorites, and when the artists are invited for interviews, chaos erupts. "Every, Every" Synopsis: In the aftermath of a horrific tragedy, two strangers come together and find peace from each other through the magic of theatre. "Wine DNA" Synopsis: Sorella and Jonah try to connect over their love of wine on an obligatory blind date...What could go wrong? "The Mime's Garden" Synopsis: A French Mime is tending to their garden when two girls run in begging for help as a murderer is after them. After some convincing, the Mime decides to help foil the Murderer in a Looney Toons style one-act. "The Trouble with Cashews" Synopsis: At a Fourth of July family gathering, brother and sister Paul and Tara stumble upon the truth regarding the perpetual warfare between human beings thanks to the way their Aunt Dorothy eats from a bowl of assorted nuts. "Underneath" Synopsis: “Underneath” underscores the idea that our identity is shaped not only by the things we cling to but also by the things we release. Reminding us when all is said and done the only thing we truly have is the love underneath. "Revenge of the Supermodels" Synopsis: In the year 2040, after a vaccine with unintended side effects has created a health emergency, the United States Army enlists the help of supermodels in a top-secret government project to save the country. "FISH & FOWL" Synopsis: While going through their deceased father's possessions, adult siblings Del and Della find what appear to be intimate photos of their stepmother. Awkwardness ensues. Additional info: Registration begins at 10:30am. Auditions begin at 11:00am. Each actor will be evaluated by all directors and may be selected for ANY of the 8 plays, UNLESS you expressly state that you only want to be considered for certain plays. NOTE: All character age ranges are rough approximations; directors have broad discretion when casting. Preparation: Actors should prepare a 30 - 60 second monologue (not necessarily memorized). Most plays are comedies; Every Every and Underneath are dramas, which might influence your monologue selection. Directors might also ask actors to read cuts from specific plays. Rehearsal schedule will be planned after casting but likely two days/week.
