Casting Call for "All My Sons" Stage Play
"All My Sons" play casting actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: Written in 1947 by Arthur Miller, All My Sons is a moving three-act play about a man, Joe Keller, who tries to provide for his sons, but ends up destroying not just his own family but many other families in the process. The major characters in the play are the Kellers and the Deevers; minor characters include several neighbors of the Kellers. During the play, Steve Deever (never seen in the play) is in prison for selling faulty airplane parts, and his son George blames Joe Keller for his father's imprisonment. Meanwhile, Kate Keller believes that her son Larry (never seen in the play) is still alive, and she does not want her other son, Chris, to marry Ann, because in her mind Ann is still “Larry's girl”. In addition to driving his own son to suicide, Joe Keller's actions eventually result in guilt so severe that he takes his own life at the end of the play.
