Very hospitable and welcoming. Very chipper at the most inappropriate times. Think Grandma Addams from "The Addams Family".
Poised and elegant. Still holds her magnetism from her early days. Also gets excited by the macabre at times. Think Morticia from "The Addams Family".
Very put together, intelligent man. airs on the side of neurotic but means well at all times. Clearly is smitten by Elaine but we mostly see him in a state where he's paranoid about loosing his mind amongst other things. Comedic timing is a must especially with the physical humor and exaggerated facial expressions.
Humble and mild mannered with an understated fiery side. Easily flustered and riled up when Mortimer flat out denies her advances, however is able top keep an air of naivety throughout. Overall a very endearing nature.
High energy, eccentric, erratic and deliberate in everything he does. Has an air of unpredictability in every moment. (Actors able to do a spot on President Teddy Roosevelt impression is a huge plus).
Big, ominous and highly intimidating. Has an immature, petty nature masquerading in masculine bravado backed by murderous intent.
German accent is a must. A lush, pacifist and total pushover to Johnathan's will. On the surface very pleasant but there must be something sinister underneath to be willing to follow a serial killer all over the world. Good comic timing and physical comedy needed.
Meek, neighborly and good natured. Think Laurel from the "Laurel and Hardy" show.
Jaded veteran cop but also good natured. Walks with a limp. Think Hardy to Officer Brophy's Laurel (Laurel and Hardy show).
On the surface seems like a man about their work but is quickly distracted and very eccentric when it comes to his passion. Unaware of reading the room once he gets started on a jag. Think Officer Claw Hauser from the movie "Zootopia".
Elaine's father. Polished, diplomatic, dogmatic and very suspicious of Mortimer's intentions with his daughter. Very pleasant overall but is distrustful of anything ungodly. Think the father from "7th Heaven".
Hobo-esque man with class. No nonsense.
A no nonsense ball buster. Leader of this neighborhood's police force. Think if Ralph Camden is always ticked off by Norton and then comes to work. Here to kick ass and take names.
Demur and soft spoken but very professional.
