Casting Performers for Upcoming Theatre Plays

Pleasant Grove, UT, United States
ID: 279219Exp: 2/18/2025
Description:

Looking for men and women for two upcoming plays. Please see the details below. About the project: 1. "Treasure Island: A Radio Play" The Winni Players’ live radio play is back! Step back in time to when radio was king and the family gathered around to hear their favorite dramas. Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson is the classic tale of young Jim Hawkins, who finds a map of a pirate treasure island in the mid-1700s. He and his compatriots, including the legendary Long John Silver, must find the island and deal with a crew of mutinous pirates in order to return to England with the treasure in hand. Performances: Thursday, March 27 at 7:30 pm; Friday, March 28 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 pm; Sunday, March 30 at 2:00 pm. 2. "August: Osage County" The interactions of the seriously dysfunctional Weston family make for riveting viewing in this dramatic comedy. Brought together by tragedy, three generations of foul-mouthed, pill-popping, spirit-swilling Westons descend on the family homestead to spill secrets, air grievances, and cut each other to the quick. Winner of both the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play, this modern take on the classic American family drama is an acclaimed look at household dynamics and familial discord. Callbacks: Wednesday, February 19 at 6 pm. Those invited to callbacks will be asked to stay for the whole callback. Performances: Thursday, May 8 at 7:30 pm Friday, May 9 at 7:30 pm Saturday, May 10 at 7:30 pm Sunday, May 11 at 2:00 pm. Additional info: See the attachment for the audition packet.
