Theater Casting Call for "Meat Market" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are looking for performers to potray roles in production of "Meat Market". More details are below. About the play: Meat Market is a 50-minute one-act play about a young queer person and their journey of exploring their sexuality and gender identity in an odd but common way… online. The main character turns to queer dating/ hookup apps to see what’s out there for them, and it’s bleak. Met with outlandish but oddly realistic characters, they find themselves scared but intrigued. The play is raunchy, funny, and relatable. Meat Market is part of the Hamilton Fringe Festival. Rate: Actors will receive an honorarium of $100-$500 based on grants and revenue. Additional information: Preliminary readings and meetings will start in early April. Rehearsals will be May-July. The show run is July 16-27, 2025. Submission deadline: February 14, 2025.
