Audition for "Great Gatsby". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Callbacks on Saturday, February 8th if necessary. Those invited will receive a phone call informing them and an email with details Before noon on February 6th. Conflict Calendar. Missing rehearsals with prior notice is not punitive (except during tech week!) Please let us know in advance of conflicts you have via the audition form. Please prepare a memorized monologue that is 30 seconds to one minute long. Directors encourage you to select a monologue that you feel best suits the role you are auditioning for (an excerpt from this show is acceptable if desired). If you are unable, don’t worry! Principal. A romantic idealist with a disarming smile. Rich, charming, yet sincere under the extreme wealth. Money is only a tool to him; Daisy is all he truly wants.
Principal. A flighty southern beauty with a voice like money. She is delicate, indecisive, and disillusioned. She longs for a different life, yet is trapped within the safety of wealth.
Principal. Midwestern, with a kind and gentle manner. Out of his depth in this company; a simple, honest, sincere man.
Principal. Arrogant, opinionated, and powerfully built; a rich, bigoted bully of a man.
Principal. Confident, and attractive with an athletic body; graceful, yet strong, with a masculine energy. She does what she wants.
Supporting. Poor, but ambitious. Sexy, sensual, passionate. She believes she is destined for better things.
Supporting. Poor, spiritless, and thoroughly beaten down by life. He has no idea how the world works. A victim of circumstance.
