Equity and Non-Equity Actors for 2025/2026 Season Shows
Equity and Non-Equity actors for roles in the 2025/2026 Season. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: 2025/2026 Season: Titanic, Beehive, Young Frankenstein, Lucky Stiff, and Sunset Boulevard as well as the LAB Series of New Works Readings. TITANIC (Ensemble Version) Synopsis: The musical play Titanic examines the causes, the conditions and the characters involved in this ever-fascinating drama. This is the factual story of that ship—of her officers, crew and passengers, to be sure—but she will not, as has happened so many times before, serve as merely the background against which fictional, melodramatic narratives are recounted. The central character of our Titanic is the Titanic herself. BEEHIVE Synopsis: “Beehive: The ‘60s Musical” matches big voices with big hairdos. From Aretha Franklin to Janis Joplin, Beehive is a wailing musical tribute to the ladies who unmistakably left their mark on ‘60s music. Rock out with “Respect,” “Natural Woman,” “My Boyfriend’s Back,” “One Fine Day,” “Downtown” and more! YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN Synopsis: The musical, Young Frankenstein, with songs by Mel Brooks and book by Thomas Meehan, is an adaptation of Brooks’ film of the same name. Young Frankenstein is a 1974 parody of classic horror films, such as Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and Son of Frankenstein. Written by Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder, and directed by Brooks, it became a critical favorite and box office smash. The Frankenstein films are inspired by Shelley’s classic novel about an Eastern European scientist who uses dark methods to animate a monster. LUCKY STIFF Synopsis: Based on the novel, The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo by Michael Butterworth, Lucky Stiff is an offbeat, hilarious murder mystery farce, complete with mistaken identities, six million bucks in diamonds and a corpse in a wheelchair. The story revolves around an unassuming English shoe salesman. Rate: AEA SPT Tier 4 agreement: AEA – $482. Additional info: Indiana and regionally-based actors are encouraged to audition.
