About the play: "Thank You For Coming to My TED Talk" is a comedy about a woman whose emotions spontaneously burst out of her while she's in the middle of an important presentation. The two decide to go their separate ways; various hi-jinks ensue as a being that is all impulse and emotion wreaks havoc, while a completely logical and literal being wanders around wondering if anything really matters. Can Rose learn to properly communicate with her emotions? A show about how putting in the work to know thyself is not only worth it, but perhaps it is the meaning of life itself. Rate: Pay is a small honorarium. Additional information: Location: Red Deer. Rehearsals with be in Red Deer Friday Evenings, Saturdays, & Sundays in March. Technical rehearsal dates: April 1st and 3rd. Performance dates: April 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12. Audition requirements: You will be sent an excerpt from the play to prepare.
