Godspell (2012) with Renegade Theatre Company

Renegade Theatre Company is excited to announce auditions for Godspell (2012) by Stephen Schwartz. Boasting a score with chart-topping songs, a book by a visionary playwright (John-Michael Tebelak) and a feature film, Godspell is a sensation that continues to touch audiences. A Glimpse Into Our Interpretation As we see the rise of Christian Nationalism and fascism in this country, there is a quickly growing need for us to stand up and stand together. This production will be influenced heavily by Atlanta protests and demonstrations, as well as the punk scene. We are excited to craft a production full of solidarity and collective power that comes from community. Our production will take to heart the lyrics “Not thrones and crowns, but men.”
