About the project: Set in the winter garden of a chateau, Ring Round the Moon concerns a pair of identical twins. One, Frederic, is sweet and innocent, while the other, Hugo, is sour and devious. Frederic is engaged to the rich and ravishing Diana, but Hugo is is convinced conv she is really pining for him. Hugo decides to save his brother from a loveless marriage by inviting a beautiful ballerina to charm his brother at a party given by his aristocratic aunt, and in the process unleashes a chain of events that even he can't foresee. The plot with its mistaken identities and misguided love affairs provides uproarious twists and turns for a delightful midsummer treat! Additional info: Information first read through-3/22 rehearsals-begin 6/9 and will be held Monday -Thursday at 7pm tech-7/20-7/24 performances-7/25.7/26.8/1.8/2.8/8.8/9.8/15.6 8/16 at 8:30pm, 8/10 at 4pm and 8/14 at 8pm set construction/workshop days-6/22, 7/12, 7/13, 7/19, performers will read from the script. Please bring a photo, resume and any conflicts. No aka or union at this time. All participants are volunteers.
