Theater Casting Call for "Sisters Matsumoto" Play

About the project: Synopsis: Sisters Matsumoto by Philip Kan Gotanda tells a moving and heartwarming story that sheds light on the aftereffects of Japanese internment camps during World War II. The play is set in 1945 and tells the story of three sisters who return to Stockton, California after spending two years in a U.S. concentration camp in Arkansas. Rate: Each performer will receive a small honorarium. Additional information: Technical rehearsal: Tuesday, May 27th. All actors MUST be available for all performances. Rehearsals will be mixed virtual/live, January through May in Ottawa, ON. When applying, please submit the folllowing details: Name, age and where you are based. A dramatic video monologue (1 to 2 minutes long). A head shot or selfie. A resume (if you have one).
