17 roles
The Head of Arms House, Ray is everything likeable about Frat Boys, easily exuding that staple energetic, friendly demeanour, and mild idiocy. It's easy to believe nothing can shake him, though that's far from the truth. Ray is carrying something, and though he hides it well behind his smile, charisma and big arms, a crippling uncertainty peeks out, now and again. He's terrified, and nobody can know.
The reluctant leader of the Nobodies, Oliver is reserved amongst his own people, and practically seized with anxiety and self doubt around strangers. The others still defer to him, given his extensive knowledge of theatre production, and his protective, theatre-dad nature, though the idea of performing, himself, is suffocating (literally). It's clear he used to be outgoing and show-stopping, a real talent, and that person may still be in there, but something in his past broke his spirit.
The Head of the University, the Dean is a scheming, clever, dastardly rich man with very, very low opinions of the Arts, quick to call all artists "Degenerates". He will not hesitate to sacrifice another to climb the ladder, and will stop at very little to achieve his dream: Running an Ivy League style institution, devoid of a free thinking peoples he can neither control, nor exploit.
The current leader of Alpha Alpha Alpha - the Bad Frat - Josh seems like your typical douchey bully boy. However, though he may be high on the food chain, there seems to be a bigger, badder fish looming over him. As a result, Josh may have a difficult relationship with his own volition and will.
The Bulldog of the Nobodies, Hazel is not a friendly person outright. She is wildly protective of her friends, determined to prevent any further cruelty the world has already done unto them. She is stubborn, opinionated, and a steadfast feminist who's trust must be earned in no insignificant way. Should harm come to those she cares for, fists will fly.
The Personality Hire of the Nobodies. Westley has a bad leg, but that doesn't stop him, becoming the group's unofficial mouthpiece. He's awkward in a charming sort of way, and enjoys a good verbal joust, having worked very hard to be as outgoing as he is.
An ArmsBoy. Tyler is a kind hearted, sweet young man, the personification of a large, loving dog. He's helpful, eager to make friends, and a little sensitive.
An ArmsBoy. Chad may be a few sandwiches short of a picnic, but he makes up for it with enthusiasm, never afraid to support his fellow bro.
A Member of Alpha Alpha Alpha, Josh's best friend, and Chad's twin brother. Brad is also a few watts short of a bulb, but he's always there for Josh, and may have a little more insight than he's letting on.
A Member of the City Planning Committee, and Sierra's older sister. Stacy knows. She knows. She is most likely the smartest person in the city, but she is a stickler for the rules, and- loopholes be damned- she must abide by them.
A Member of the City Planning Committee, and Stacy's younger sister, Sierra often has a job to do, but her passion for life, love and the arts- Musical Theater, especially- can impede her efficiency and judgement.
A Member of the University Board, Barbara manages social media, and press. She sits at the centre of the Need to Know basis, making certain the face of the University is always sightly.
A Member of the University Board, Adam is the numbers man. Finances, stocks, bonds, he's got it all on lock down.
The Mayor of the City. A strange and mysterious man.
Ensemble. A good-natured group of individuals who claim to unite under a Frat House banner with their stellar arm strength and muscles. Though that may not entirely be true, their passion and bro-energy is undeniable. Whatever happens, they will always hype up their fellow Arms House Bro, and back their peerless leader, Ray Rhiner.
Ensemble. A ragtag bunch of Theater students all finding themselves ostracized by the industry due to gender, poverty, disability, race and/or other uncontrollable variables, the Nobodies are a tight-knit collection. Eccentric and weird in ways that may seem almost frightening, they're really quite lovely if you can appeal to their artistic nature. Best described: A colony of stray cats who- whilst wary of outsiders- are ultimately eager to play and receive treats.
Ensemble. The Worst. The Bad Frat. A collection of jerks, bullies and awful boys who's entitlement is almost as palpable as their incessant crowing; Alpha, Alpha, Alpha HO! (Ew.)
