Ethnic Cast and Ensemble Needed for 'Ragtime' the Musical
Actors' Repertory Theatre of Simi is casting their musical theatre production of Ragtime, a story depicting the rich history of the early 20th century through the lives of three groups of people; the wealthy white segment of the population, the culturally diverse immigrants coming through Ellis Island, and the ever upbeat and hopeful Harlem contingency, the inspiration of the time through Scott Joplin's Ragtime "new music". An important part of history that must be told.
