Casting Performers for "Fences" Show
The company is holding auditions for "Fences" show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Fences is set in 1950s Pittsburgh and follows Troy Maxson, a former baseball player now working as a garbage collector. Struggling with the disappointment of dreams unfulfilled due to racial barriers, Troy’s bitterness starts to affect his relationships with his family. As he builds a fence around his home, he also builds emotional walls that keep out those he loves. This Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by August Wilson delves into themes of family, love, responsibility, and the lasting impact of prejudice. Additional info: Performances will be March 28th to April 13th. Performances will take place from Friday to Sunday during this time. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM. Tech rehearsal will take place from March 22nd to 27th. Please note that tech rehearsal is mandatory for all actors. Auditions will consist of reading the prepared sides (below). Please bring a current resume (if available) and a list of conflicts for the months of January-April.
