Theatre Casting Call for "Seussical"

In need of male and female talent for the "Seussical" play. More details provided below. Additional info: Please arrive with a list of rehearsal conflicts you may have from January 12-February 22. Any monologue or musical excerpt will serve as your audition for ANY part, regardless of the character that the monologue or excerpt is listed to portray. You may list the character(s) you wish to be considered for on your audition form. NOTE: Surfside will not be using microphones for Seussical. Be prepared to project your voice in both spoken and sung auditions. Auditioners will: perform a short rhyming monologue perform a short musical excerpt learn and perform a short movement combination The monologues and songs with accompaniment tracks are all below. You might be asked to perform them more than once, with a change of characterization. All auditions may be filmed for consideration by the casting committee. Instructions for monologues: Please choose ONE monologue from the appropriate page. Be prepared to perform it from memory, in character. Instructions for musical excerpts: Men and Ladies may choose two excerpts to prepare, but may only be asked to perform one. If interested, please apply.
