"ALWAYS BURNING" Type A, and very hard-headed. Danny harbors a great deal of anger and resentment towards the powers that be for their part in the current state of things, to the point where it’s perhaps all-consuming. Danny is the mastermind behind the group’s travel plans, and will do everything possible to ensure their last moments are not meaningless.
"ALWAYS BURNING" Takes on a much more laid-back attitude towards the end of the world. Alex may have been dealt a crappy hand in life, but now that life’s just about over, why not throw those cards to the wind and make the best of whatever time is left?
"ALWAYS BURNING" A sweet soul, if a bit high-strung. Charlie struggles with faith as the reality of the apocalypse clashes with beliefs instilled since childhood. Without a clear end in sight for the end times, Charlie still clings to the hope that humanity will and a way to recover, if only to avoid facing the harshness of death—and what may or may not come after.
"A CHANGE OF AIR" A little girl. This role is played by a young adult. volatile, wildly imaginative, and sometimes histrionic.
"A CHANGE OF AIR" Soulful, with unspoken depths of guilt and doubt. An outsider who’s never felt at home anywhere. Yet also: playful wit, imagination and keen sensitivity to others.
"A CHANGE OF AIR" All played by one versatile actress, 20-30s. These roles range from glamorous to bleak, and require the ability to move well – and to waltz.
