Talent Wanted for "Big, Scary Animals" Show

The company is holding auditions for "Big, Scary Animals" show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Big, Scary Animals explores issues of race relations and cultural divisions. Actors are recommended to read the script to ensure they are comfortable with the material. The script features expressions and discussions of stereotypes, brandishing and firing a gun, and a single explicit use of the ‘n’-word as a racial slur. Additional info: Performances: September 5th-September 28th, 2025 – Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm; Sundays at 2:00 pm; one Thursday evening at 8:00 pm. Audition Requirements: All actors bring 1-2 memorized monologue of their own. And actors prepare 1 monologue and 1 scene to be read from the sides below NOTE: There is no monologue option for the Ronnie character. Actors reading for that role may present a 2nd prepared monologue of their choice. Callbacks: Monday and Tuesday, December 9th and 10th (if needed), 7:00 pm—10:00 p.m. Callbacks will be from the script which the Director will send out. Please see the attachment for sides.
