Seeking men and women for upcoming 11 theatre plays. Please see the characters' descriptions below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: 1. "Jersey Boys" 2. "A Sherlock Carol" Additional info: You will be asked to make an appointment for the general auditions and possibly attend the dance call. After filling out the online form, you will receive an email to confirm the time of your appointment. Please prepare 16 bars of both an up-tempo song and a ballad that showcases you at your best. If you are not auditioning for a singing role, you may prepare a short contemporary monologue. If you are auditioning for Antony and Cleopatra or Love Labors Lost, please have a Shakespearean monologue prepared. If you are attending the dance call, please wear or bring comfortable clothes that you can easily move in as well as appropriate shoes for dance. "This Side of the Dirt" A beautiful Hispanic intellectual and Zen Master. Juan is Jean Ann's confidant and self-imposed yardman...but that’s where he finds his solace.
"This Side of the Dirt" Jean Ann’s husband (her second) and a South Texas good ol’ boy to the bone, he’s a University of Texas Longhorn booster that loves to hunt and fish. He has an exaggerated twang at times.

"This Side of the Dirt" UT fraternity boy. Jimmy's son from his first marriage, slight twang especially when he’s joking around. Smart as a whip, philosophical and endless seeker of knowledge.
"Antony and Cleopatra" The nephew and adopted son of Julius Caesar. Octavius rules the Roman Empire with Antony and Lepidus. Relations between Octavius and Antony are strained throughout the play, for the young triumvir believes that Antony squanders his time and neglects his duties while in Egypt. Ambitious and extremely pragmatic.
"Antony and Cleopatra" Antony’s most loyal supporter and advisor. Worldly and cynical, stays faithful to his master even after Antony makes grave political and military missteps.
"Antony and Cleopatra" The third member of the triumvirate of Rome and the weakest, both politically and personally. Lepidus’s rather desperate attempts to keep the peace between Octavius and Antony fail when Octavius imprisons him.
"Antony and Cleopatra" The son of a great general who was one of Julius Caesar’s partners in power. Pompey is young and popular with the Roman people, and he possesses enough military might to stand as a legitimate threat to the triumvirs.

"The Shark is Broken" Great English actor renowned for his work in Shakespeare. Also a veteran of Pinter’s first few plays. Has recently started his American film career, notably in The Sting and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. A heavy drinker and great raconteur.
"The Shark is Broken" Jewish. Beginning his film career and has ambitions of being a great stage actor. Incredible frustrated with being stuck with an overbudget, overscheduled shoot for a film that seems destined to flop.
"The Shark is Broken" A former welterweight champion boxer. Has recently achieved success and an Oscar nomination in supporting roles. Much calmer than his two costars but none-the-less equally frustrated with the endless shoot.

"Doubt" A composed strict, working-class mother who is fiercely dedicated to her, Donald. Caught in a heart-wrenching tug-of-war between ensuring her son’s current safety and not jeopardizing his educational prospects, she exemplifies the tenacity and complex sacrifices inherent in motherhood.
"The Exorcist" A sinister demon who possesses Regan after posing as her imaginary friend Captain Howdy. He has a history with Father Merrin. Pazuzu is a violent, foul-mouthed creature, able to control Regan's body at will and has a variety of supernatural, terrorizing powers. Regan and the Demon often speak the same lines in unison. *Must be comfortable with adult language.

Mr. Topper- The manager of the Cosmopolitan Hotel. A bit older, a bit pompous. Easily irritated. Supposedly a friend of Fred, Scrooge's nephew. Ralph Fezziwig- A nervous, wiry young man. The black sheep of a proud family. Engaged to Fannie. Constable Hopkins- A seemingly upstanding member of Scotland Yard.
"A Sherlock Carol" Emma Wiggins - A good spirited and brave 13-year-old, she is a former Baker Street Irregular. Fan Gardner - Scrooge's granddaughter. A refined young woman, she works backstage at the theatre in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Engaged to Ralph Fezziwig. Inspector Lestrade - Blustery, easily confounded member of Scotland Yard. He has grudging respect for Holmes. Mrs. Windigate - A Scottish tavern keeper and member of the Goose Club. Giggly, a whirlwind.
"A Sherlock Carol" Dr. Watson- Sherlock Holmes' best and most loyal friend. The Boswell to Holmes' Johnson. Mrs. Dilber- Mr. Scrooge's housekeeper of over 30 years. An emotional creature with a connection to the spiritual realm. Henry Burke - An Irish candle maker, an old friend of Mr. Scrooge. Old Joe Brackenridge - The owner of Old Joe's in Covent Garden. Gruff, a born salesman.
"A Sherlock Carol" Caroler - A cheerful person in the street. Woman in Restaurant - A London lady. The Countess of Morcar - American. An old love of Holmes' who also goes by another name, Irene Adler. Martha Cratchit - Tough and a bit lower class than her brother. She is, in some ways, as smart as any detective she might meet. Mary Morstan - Watson's elegant and brave wife. Abigail Fezziwig - Runs a business fattening geese for market.
