Seeking cast for production of "Peter and the Starcatcher". Please see the breakdown below. About the project: Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher ignites the imagination while playfully exploring the depths of greed and despair... and the bonds of friendship, duty and love. Additional info: Sign-in begins at 6:30 pm. Auditions begin at 7:00 pm. See the attachment for parking info. Callbacks will be by invite only and will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 2:00 pm. What to Expect: - Various theater games and devising exercises will be taught and played to assess the auditioners ability for creative ensemble storytelling. - Sides from the show will be provided for auditions. - Music will be provided at callbacks. Auditioners are NOT asked to prepare a song for auditions in advance. Rehearsals: - Rehearsals will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, from 7 pm-10 pm, and on Sunday afternoons 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. Please note rehearsal times are subject to change based on cast/crew availability. - Rehearsals will begin Sunday, January 5th. - Full cast read-through will take place either December 18th or 20th (TBD based on cast/crew availability) - There will be a photo shoot day TBD based on cast/crew availability. Attendance The following rehearsal dates are mandatory for all cast: - Photo Shoot Day (TBD) - Theater Clean-Up Day (Friday, March 7, 2025) - Tech Week (Sunday, March 9 – Thursday, March 13, 2025) - All Performances - Strike (Sunday, March 23rd, immediately following the final performance) Performance Dates: March 14-16 and 20-23, 2025 (Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 3 pm) If you are interested, please apply.
