About the project: Our one-hour adaptation of A Christmas Carol (story by Charles Dickens, adapted by McKinney resident, Dr. Andrew Harris) is a cherished annual tradition at MRT. Each season, more families discover this timeless tale told in MRT’s unique way, with many returning year after year. Follow Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by ghosts from his past, present, and future, who reveal the true spirit of Christmas and the consequences of his choices. Rate: All roles are volunteer only and are not paid. Additional info: Headshots and resumes are not required, but welcome if you have one. Sides for the audition are posted below and will be available at the auditions. Rehearsals: First Rehearsal/Read Through: Oct. 14 at 6:30 PM October 15, 16, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, Nov. 4, 5, 7, 11, 12, 14, 17. All week day rehearsals will be from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM and Sunday rehearsals will be from 2-5 PM. Load in/set build: Monday, Nov. 18th - Time TBD Tech week: Monday, Nov. 18 - 20 - 6:30 PM - 10 PM Dress rehearsal: Thursday, Nov. 21st at 6:30 PM Pick up rehearsals: Nov. 29 at 10 AM & Dec. 12 at 7 PM Performances Total of 11 shows: Friday, November 22nd at 7:30pm Saturday, November 23rd at 4:30pm & 7:30pm Friday, November 29th at 1:30pm & 4:30pm Saturday, November 30th at 1:30pm & 4:30pm Friday, December 13th at 7:30pm Saturday, December 14th at 11:00am, 1:30pm & 4:30pm Please note: Double casting is possible and age ranges are approximate.
