Looking for performers for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Audition materials will be emailed at least 1 week prior to auditions. Rehearsals: Begin October 27. Sunday - Wednesday each week. 6 - 9 p.m. at the SPCT Rehearsal Barn (550 S. Bird Street, Sun Prairie). No rehearsals on December 24, 25, 31, or January 1. Otherwise, rehearsals will occur during the Sun Prairie School's Winter Break. Performances: January 10 at 7 p.m. January 11 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. January 12 at 2 p.m. January 17 at 7 p.m. January 18 at 2 p.m. Tech week is January 5 - 10. No conflicts are allowed. A conflict calendar to fill out and additional information requested by the production team will be emailed to those registered for auditions prior to the audition date. If interested, please apply.

The sly, charming star of the show. Lithe, eccentric. His larger than life persona can go from charming and comical, to magically mysterious and dark.
Sweet, smart, hopeful and loving. A boy with wonderful innocence and vulnerability.
Impish. He is Charlie's imaginative, fun, kind and loving grandfather. After many years being confined to a bed, his childish energy returns when Charlie finds the Golden Ticket.
Charlie's warm and kind-hearted mother. Worrier. Generous and loving.
Augustus's German, moronic, Wagnerian mother. Mirthlessly smiles as though it were affixed to the front of her face.
Rampantly over-active.
Veruca's goofy, eccentric, distracted, hilarious father. Finds it impossible to say no, giving in to every ridiculous demand his daughter makes.
Vicious and determined.
Violet's ineffectual father. Ignores his back-talking, insult-hurling daughter.
Confident, forward, and full of attitude.
A fireplug with a ridiculous amount of energy.
She needs amphetamines to get through the day and deal with her outrageous son. Tense, extreme, and hilarious.
