Actors Needed for Immersive Halloween Show
Looking for folks of any ethnicity and gender identity, who must be over 21 to play the parts of two Vampires in Immersive Halloween show. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: Synopsis: Inspired by the Anne Rice universe. Meet the mesmerizing & mysterious vampires Aurelian & Rene. Uncover their secrets, share a drink and experience the thrill of the unknown. This one-of-a-kind event plunges guests into the world of 18th-century vampires, with a modern twist. Set in an expertly themed and decorated venue, participants will embark on an immersive storytelling experience, featuring a live cast of characters and curated signature cocktails that channel the essence of vampire lore. Upon arrival, guests will be given prompts to ask their selected vampire. Through conversation, storytelling & uncovering hidden diary entries, they will uncover what happened to the third member of this vampire coven & their dark back stories. Rate: $50.00/show, plus tips. Additional info: *This is a Non-Union production. Improv and acting experience is greatly encouraged, but not required. While there is a script to follow, majority of audience interaction is improvised. Rehearsals will be the weeks of September 21st & October 1st, actors are NOT required to be at all rehearsals. Performances will run Thursday - Saturday evenings the month of October. These roles will be double cast & actors do not need to be available for all performances. Beautiful, charming & Manipulative, born in 18th century France (maybe has a French accent?) always dresses in fine aristocratic clothes, makeup & hair is perfect. Aurelian is seductive, using their charm and wit to manipulate and captivate others. They exude confidence and often takes pleasure in the attention they draw. Can be playful, even theatrical, but this often hides a darker, more ruthless side. Think a mix of Lestat & Kirstin Dunst's Marie Antoinette.
Brooding, philosophical & guilt ridden. A true tortured artist & the foil to Aurelian. Born in 1920's New Orleans, but has a timeless, eclectic style. Consumed by guilt for taking lives to sustain their vampiric existence. their humanistic tendencies make them unwilling to fully embrace the monstrous side of being a vampire, and they grapple with feelings of sin and damnation. Highly introspective, frequently contemplating the meaning of life, death, and eternity.
