About the project: Woven from interviews of various commune members, this entirely female tale of motherhood unfolds in comedic snippets and multi-perspective shared memories. #notacult is an unexpectedly poignant portrait of a mother in crisis on a comedic journey to reinvent herself, as well as a heartwarming tale of the bizarre lengths mothers will go to save each other. Additional info: Audition will be cold reading. Performances are scheduled for January 18th and 19th, 2025 with performances at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Please apply if interested.

A mother to a 1.5-year-old. Before her daughter was born, she traveled a lot for work organizing political campaigns. She is highly organized and tracks all the appointments for herself and Jax.
Mother to a 3-month-old. She loves working with her hands and has previously worked in urban planning, restoration, and landscape architecture. When she is stressed, she loses her voice.
