About the project: Sheltered, a new play intertwines poetry and ancient Greek theatrical traditions to offer a haunting kaleidoscope centered on the realities of women experiencing homelessness. Weaving a tapestry of firsthand accounts as well as characters based on myth, this new play explores familial bonds, societal neglect, and the universal need for security. Rate: Actors’ Equity Showcase Code $3,000 total Additional info: All woman-identifying or non-binary performers are encouraged to apply. In-person callbacks will be scheduled for Sunday, September 29 from 1-3 PM and/or Monday, September 30 5-8 PM. Callbacks will involve ensemble work and textual exploration.
