Seeking Performers for "Having Hope at Home" Show
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of male and female actors for the production of "Having Hope at Home". Please, see the details below. About the show: Having Hope at Home is a Canadian comedy that takes place on a cold winter night in a crumbling old Ontario farmhouse. The central character, Carolyn, is trying to reconcile with her parents over a formal dinner with “help” from her spouse and grandfather. Unfortunately, she’s also just gone into labor! Additional information: Show Dates: February 28 - March 16, 2025 Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2pm. Location: Cookstown, Ontario. Cast members are required to be available for all performance dates without exception and for tech and dress rehearsals (Tech Day Sunday, February 23rd, Dress Rehearsal Tues., February 25th and Preview Wed., February 26th). No audition pieces required for the audition. They will read some scenes from the play in pairs. If you're interested, please apply.
