President’s Press Secretary. A high-strung quick-witted woman who can handle any pressroom and clean up any scandal while wearing a turtleneck. A single working mother with poor taste in partners. She is Harriet’s more tactful counterpart.
President’s Secretary. An obedient staff member who is terrified of failure and is always on the edge of a nervous breakdown.
President’s pregnant girlfriend. Determined to make the world a better place. She has a multitude of skills, loves democracy and is determined to make the world a better place.
President’s sister. A self-proclaimed lesbian. A total mess, she has a fiery temper, a fantastic sense of humor and mayhem follows her. Shares a kiss with Chris.
A reporter – preferably a person of color– Overburdened and over tired. A newly divorced new mother, she is actively nursing and pumps on stage. A dogged reporter with much to gain and everything to lose. Shares a kiss with Bernadette.
