Casting Performers for "Bell Blu" Play
Directors are calling for male and female performers for the "Bell Blu" play. Please, see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Bell is tired of living with her mother who insists that the only way she is ever going to leave home is married to a man who will take care of her. Bell despises the whole idea of a woman needing a man to provide for her. She wants to be free to be herself and she will do anything to get her freedom. Additional information: Bell Blu is scheduled for production on August 3-4, 2024, at the Richmond Triangle Players Theatre in Richmond, VA as part of the Critical Race Theory Project’s “Evening of Black Creative Expression” showcase. Must be available for read-through TBA and all rehearsals starting July 2 including dress and tech rehearsals. When applying, please send your resume and headshot bring your resume and headshot, and be prepared with a 1-minute monolog; you may be asked to read from the script. A stipend for travel will be provided.
