Singing Audition for "Bonnie and Clyde" Show
The company is holding auditions for "Bonnie and Clyde" Show and looking for actors, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Rehearsals will tentatively begin in mid-July (weeknights and some Saturdays based on cast availability). Pending availability and interest, there is the possibility of a full company (cast, designers, production team) carpool research field trip to the Texas Prison Museum in Huntsville, Texas on or around Saturday, July 13. Performances are scheduled for September 13-22, 2024 at the Uptown Theater in Grand Prairie, TX. Please bring a headshot and resume (if you have one) and a list of conflicts from July 8 through September 22. A preliminary rehearsal calendar will be available at the auditions Auditions will be asked to sing a 32-bar cut (no longer than 90 seconds) of a song in the style of the show: pop, rock, folk, country, rockabilly, etc. (non-musical theatre is absolutely welcome) showcasing both strong acting/storytelling ability and musical range. Songs from the show are acceptable. Bring sheet music (preferred) or an accompaniment track (if necessary). A piano accompanist and Bluetooth speaker will be provided.
