Seeking Talent for "Peter Pan" Musical Show

Non Dancer, non-singing role Tink will be a laser in the show but appear “live” during transitions helping to move the story along. She is the ultimate “THINKER TINKER FAIRY” and likes to fuss and tinker with things throughout the story. Precocious and strong willed, Tinkerbell is a devoted friend to Peter.

Mezzo-Soprano The eldest Darling child, and as such, she is often the one to direct all play in the nursery. She has a loving and compassionate maternal sensibility. Wendy is very protective of her younger brothers. She is proper, poised, and responsible. Must be willing to fly and not be afraid of heights.

(will also play a Pirate): Mezzo-Soprano The Darling matriarch. Mrs. Darling glides about gently but swiftly from task to task with motherly precision. She has a pleasant strength to her demeanor. Will also play a Pirate.

(Will also play Captain Hook): Bass-Baritone A bit of a grouch. Mr. Darling is a fussy professional who happens to be a father. Though sparkles of his love peak through from time to time, he often has more important places to go and people to see.

(will also play Mr. Darling): Bass-Baritone The one-handed captain of the Jolly-Roger. Relentless and restless in his pursuit of Pan, Hook is a magnificent, short-fused, larger-than-life villain. Reeking of old world British public school (which is the term for elite “private” school) pompous arrogance, Hook is a master swordsman who will cheat, lie and steal and still enjoy a good cup of tea!

Alto/Tenor. The famous boy who never grows up! Peter Pan is charismatic, boastful and carefree, self-centered and oblivious, forgetful and fearless. In short, he is everything that you would expect the essence of childhood to be. Actor MUST be willing to fly (not afraid of heights) do aerial twists and turns on harness. Actor will be taught swordplay and need to move easily on all levels of the stage. Strong Stage presence and improv skills.

(will also play Tiger Lily): Mezzo-Soprano The Darling’s nanny. Genuine and kind, but very strict.

A Newfoundland dog & THE CROCODILE: Non-singing role These characters will be realized as props rather than through costumes. Used like puppets, the actor will bring both characters to life and will need to move well, have good improv skills and be a creative “puppeteer”.

Any voice part Captain Hook’s knockabout lackey. An archetypical sidekick, is over-the-top and completely lovable. Requires and actor with excellent physical comedy chops.

(will also play Liza): Mezzo-Soprano Fearless, strong, beautiful & brave Warrior Princess of Neverland. Outsmarting the Pirates is a daily occurrence for the Warriors as is playing tricks on the Lost Boys. Tiger Lily becomes one of Peter’s most trusted friends. Strong Dancer.

All Voice Parts Portrayed as Exotic Inhabitants of Never Land, the Warriors are exquisite dancers who love to outsmart the Pirates and play fun tricks on the Lost Boys.

All Voice Parts Outlaws who roam the seas on the Jolly Roger captained by Hook. Looking for an ensemble of actors who are comedic and move well (there is some dancing and stage fighting). Skill with accents and improv a plus! Must be able to move around levels & stairs on set.
