Dancers Needed for "Quotable" Performance

Auditions for January 2026 performance "Quotable". Looking for dancers. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: This season’s show invites dancers to bring powerful words to life. Each piece will be inspired by a famous, personal, poetic, or profound quote. Whether it reflects strength, humor, heartbreak, or identity, your chosen quote sets the tone. Let the words spark your vision. Let the movement tell the story. Additional info: This is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit collective dedicated to building community through dance. Doors open early for warm-up. Please arrive with time to stretch, complete forms, and bring your calendar for scheduling. Cost: free to audition (A project-based dancer fee will apply if selected.) Auditions will include a full-body warm-up and movement phrases led by choreographers, featuring ballet, modern, jazz, and guided improvisation. They rehearse primarily on Monday evenings from 6–10 PM. If Mondays don’t work for you, they’re open to exploring alternatives—so still come audition. Selected dancers are expected to attend Monday night technique classes (exceptions can be discussed) and must regularly attend rehearsals for any pieces they are cast in. Please note: company does not currently have a vaccination policy, but they will follow all venue-specific guidelines and share any updates. Show dates: January 31 & February 1, 2026.
