The founder of the group, Billie is burned-out and sick of nothing changing. Billie has buried her trauma and it eats away at her. She has forgotten how to take care of herself, but every so often, we catch sight of her childlike wonder at the world.
The newcomer to the group. Smart, manipulative, and calmly threatening. Cullen has an anger buried inside him. He feels like he has been wronged: that someone has taken what is rightfully his.
Fierce, fierce, and unforgiving, Maude is the energy of the piece and the glue that holds the group together. Despite a bravado and ‘who-gives-a-shit’ arrogance, deep down Maude really cares.
Maxy works at the garden centre and steals the fertilizer to make explosives. They are dopey and a bit dim, yet like most fools, their words often contain the truth. Maxy is the little kid of the group but Cullen’s arrival inspires them to ‘man up’ and take responsibility.
