Theatre Casting Call for "I Love My Zombie"
Auditions for the original play "I Love My Zombie". Looking for actors. Please see the details below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: In 1952, the television show I Love My Wife is the most watched show on the new medium and star June Burns is the most beloved personality alive. There’s only one problem: June’s husband, on the show and in real life, has turned into a Zombie along with other stars who fought in WWII. Can the show survive the change or will the growing anti-Zombie movement force them off the air? I Love My Zombie is a Zom-Com filled with mystery, back-stabbing, and the comedic truth about the way we see each other. Additional info: Director is seeking 10+ players to fill the roles (note that age indications are for character portrayal notes only – actors outside the noted age ranges can still be considered). Any actor auditioning for a role that is listed as a “Zombie” MUST be willing to allow extra time for make-up application before later rehearsals and all shows. Auditions MAY consist of reading from the script, improvisation, and physical movement activities. If needed, callbacks will take place on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00pm. The show will run June 6-9, 2024. If you are interested, please apply.
