About the project: Set in 19th century London, this classic thriller is the origin story of our modern use of the term “gaslighting”. When Bella Manningham is the only one to witness the gas lights in her home sporadically going dim, she will be forced to question everything, including the shadows of her past and even her own sanity. Additional info: Please prepare: Please prepare/submit a dramatic monologue suiting the tone of the show. Bring your best British accent! You may also be asked to read sides with other auditioners. Callbacks: if needed, callbacks will be by invitation only on Monday April 8 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Rehearsals: A full-cast readthrough is scheduled for Tuesday April 16 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Regular rehearsals will begin April 18. The planned rehearsal schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 6:30 - 9:30 pm, with an increase in rehearsals in July for tech rehearsals.
