About the project: Teenager and rebel-without-cause Jeanette Howard is spurred by her controlling mother to run away to Las Vegas, but not without first breaking her Gammy out of a nursing home so she can take her along. She fights. through insecurity by saying no one else matters, and that gives her an appearance of boldness and confidence.
