Talent needed for the upcoming theatre play "Aida". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: CALLBACKS Thursday, December 7, 2023. 7-9 p.m. WHAT TO PREPARE FOR THIS AUDITION Please bring a current headshot/resume and prepare one 32-bar cut in the style of the show, but not from the show itself. (Choose a song that highlights your vocal skills). Please bring sheet music for your song (in the appropriate key) with you to the audition; an accompanist will be provided. Bring your calendar with you in order to declare any conflict dates for rehearsals. Please prepare a reading selection from the ones provided in the attachment below. Actors may be asked to read during their audition. Please arrive to your audition 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. There will be a dance call on Wednesday, December 6 from 7-9 p.m. This call is for dancers who are auditioning to dance only. REHEARSALS Technical rehearsals are mandatory and take place: Saturday, February 17: 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 18: 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 19: 6 to 11 p.m. Tuesday, February 20: 6 to 11 p.m. Wednesday, February 21: 6 to 11 p.m Aida runs for a total of 17 performances from Feb. 22 to Mar. 17, 2024.
