Singers/Actors Needed for 2023-24 Season Shows
The company is holding auditions for the 2023-2024 season shows and looking for singers/actors, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: SHOW #1: DAMES AT SEA SHOW #2: IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE (A MUSICAL) SHOW #3: SYLVIA SHOW #4: THE HELLO GIRLS Show #5: Lend Me A Tenor SHOW #6: THE PROM Rate: The company will not be accepting any Equity contract actors at this time. Due to California state statute AB 5, all actors will be volunteers. However, per fiscal year, the company is allowed to provide its volunteer actors a reimbursement stipend of $150 for ensemble members, $250 for featured roles, and $500 for lead roles in a musical, toward food and transportation expenses. For non-musicals, all actors receive a $200 stipend. Additional info: Directors will accept video auditions. Video submission should include the following: 1. A short intro-Tell Them a little bit about yourself, the role(s) you are interested in, and introduce your monologue/song. 2. One short monologue that shows off your skills. If you’re auditioning for a comedy, please choose accordingly! 3. ** If you’d like to be considered for a musical, please sing 32 bars of a song that shows your vocal range and strengths, in addition to your monologue.
