About the project: "And the Lights of Borealis Were Shining": Adapted from the Norwegian myth East of the Sun, West of the Moon. "The agreement was simple: Bee would live with Al, a talking polar bear, for a year. In exchange, her family would be blessed with incredible wealth. All this comes with a contract, however, and when Bee unknowingly breaks the terms, she is left alone and determined. With the help of strangers and a bit of magic, Bee embarks on a journey to rediscover the person she thought she knew, and maybe even discover what her own worth is. An adaptation of East of the Sun, West of the Moon." Rate: This is an unpaid opportunity, with the potential for a small stipend at the end of the project. Additional info: Non union. Queer, trans & non-binary actors to the front. "And the Lights of Borealis Were Shining" will run on February 4th & 5th at 2PM, and February 7th at 7PM. Rehearsals will be on some weekends and weekday evenings (Flexible/TBD based on availability). Because this is an unpaid workshop production, directors will accommodate any and all scheduling conflicts!
